The 2017 Lineup for Adult Christian Education
Our goal for Adult Education at Birchwood is to INFORM and TRANSFORM. We believe the classes below will stimulate you and sustain and encourage you.
The Book of Romans: Mike Pooleon, a retired history teacher, is leading us through Romans, probably the most important book in the New Testament because of its teaching about the nature and practice of Christian faith. This series begins January 8 and will continue through mid June.
Mike plans to publish outlines of his weekly lessons. To view them, click here. Notice: Mike had to suspend his lessons in April in order to recover from a surgical procedure. He will resume the series in September. Stay tuned! —– The good news is that Mike has completely recovered and is resuming his Romans series on September 10. His notes will be published here as they are available.
Making Decisions: New series of 5 lessons by Dan Sanford, a retired college professor. Dan has compiled insights and advice from several sources to help Christians who want to decide an issue in accordance with discerning and obeying God’s will. His notes from this series can be found on this site by clicking decisions.
