Birchwood Studios
Where God's Word is our Model and Art is our Language
Birchwood Studios is a fellowship of adults and teens where creativity is encouraged, practiced and enjoyed. We seek to experience the Holy Spirit's creative guidance in us and the gift of expression through visual arts. We welcome beginning and seasoned artists alike who want to grow in faith.
- To honor and worship the Lord through visual art
- To know the Lord in new and deeper ways through studying His Word
- To grow in awareness of God's creativity and celebrate this
- To learn techniques that help us to translate our God-directed creativity into visual expression
- To reach into our community inviting others to share in these goals of worship through art

Fall Sunday Class:
"A Journey of Hope" - We're all creative because our creator made us in His image!
Begins Sunday, September 7 at 11:00 am
All who'd enjoy participating in worship in a fresh and creative way are invited to join us in a unique Sunday morning teach and create time this fall. Pastor Bruce Becker will be preaching for Advent in the Book of Ruth centering on the journey of our Redeemer Kinsman and our Saviour's story in the New Testament. To set the backdrop for these sermons we are going to study the scriptures and create a lovely, platform-wide artistic scene of the journeys of the families from the Old and New Testament. Layers of cut cardboard and fabric will be our key media, no need to particularly know how to draw or paint. We will work in teams led by Birchwood Studios adults to bring us together to enjoy creating and installing this work.
